What are they?
When did they start appearing?
Why can some of us see them, and others not?


I've had my fair share with this paranormal phenomena for many years.
I was visited and followed by one throughout my childhood into my teens, and one final time when I was 21.

I had a shadow entity follow me for years growing up, even through different countries.

It started when I was around 5 and ended when I was 21.

This entity was pitch black, I mean blacker than black, and always appeared out of nowhere in my bedroom, it would just stand there looking at me. Later on I always knew when it would appear because the air changed, somehow it became more static, and heavier.
And no, this is not one of those sleep paralyzes cases, it always happened when I was awake at night, and when it started coming close to me, I would jump out of bed and switch on the light, then it would disappear.
It never made any sound, oh and it also moved sideways, it sometimes cocked its head , as if mocking me, I felt pure evil coming from it, even as a child, I knew this was something that wanted to harm me, but for some reason couldn't.

Then at the age of 6 my family moved to Europe , and the entity followed me there too. I told my parents about it, but they never believed me, they just thought I didn't want to go to sleep yet.
Later on when I told my grandma she believed me, and gave me a mountain crystal she had charged with good energy to keep under my pillow, but it didn't work.

Then at the age of 12 my family moved to yet another country, and still this thing followed me, showing up about 3-4 times a week, and me always running to the wall to flip the light switch on as soon as it started moving.

It stopped coming when I was around 16, when I got into meditation, meeting my spirit guides, and crystals, and whatnot.
Then one night when I was 21 I was in bed awake thinking about work , when I felt the air in the room change again, I haven't felt it for so long, I couldn't believe this thing had come back!

So this time I wasn't scared just really pissed and have had enough (I've met many spirits in my lifetime but those were harmless, or needed to give me a message, but this entity, whatever it was was always trying to scare me.)

So I called out to my guardian angels and asked for help.
I could see them appear in my mind's eye, and there were 2 of them, looked like male twins. They each got out a giant sword, then suddenly I couldn't see anything, only hear the rest of what happened.

I assume they didn't want me to see the gruesome part.
I heard the slashing sounds of the swords, then the most horrible screech-scream, that was simply out of this world, then silence, and the air was back to normal again.

I thanked my guardians for helping me, and at that moment I felt this beautiful warmth just wash all over me, I felt so happy.

I have no idea why I never thought of asking them for help before. I guess I just always had that run, and get out reflex.

Well it's been 14 years since, and no bad entities, (knocks on wood), I protect myself with white light, and ask my guardians to keep me safe too.

Once a psychic/ mentor of mine told me this thing was following me around because of my family having generations of Tarot card readers, and gifted people, I don't know, I'm just happy it's gone.

Some of the characteristics I've noticed due to my experiences and reading many others:

[*]they appear mostly at night, though have been spotted during the daytime too
[*]they are faceless, their features cannot be seen
[*]most feel fear them, and fear dread when near them
[*]some talk, but the majority of them don't
[*]some have reported a very bad odor when seeing them
[*]some folks have reported being attacked or pushed by them
[*]some are visible full on, and some only from the corner of the eye
[*]their color is blacker than black and can even be seen in a dark room
